Outpatient Mental Health Services
Without counseling, children have a 50% greater chance of facing abuse again in the future.

The Children’s Advocacy Center offers outpatient counseling as a critical part of the healing process. Studies show that abused/neglected children who receive counseling report improved quality of life, are happier in school and have fewer behavioral problems.

The Children’s Advocacy Center offers individual, group and family counseling for child and adolescent victims of child abuse, siblings of victims, non-offending caretakers, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and child on child sexual abuse. The caring team of therapists also works closely with the family reunification process.

The Children’s Advocacy Center has a staff of master’s level counselors, licensed therapists, license-eligible registered interns, and other specialists in treating childhood abuse and other youth traumas.

Outpatient Mental Health Services is funded by ADM, United Way, Volusia County, Flagler County, City of Port Orange, City of DeLand, VOCA, National Children’s Alliance, grants and donations.

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
