This year's Sweetheart Gala will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort.  The evening will include a silent auction cocktail hour from 7 until 8 which will be highlighted by sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, sparkling champagne and strolling musicians.  Guests will have the opportunity to bid on travel packages, jewelry and more.

A grand dinner will be served while guests enjoy the sounds of Uptown and the excitement of a high-paced live auction, directed by Barbara West of Channel 9 and her husband Wade West. Holiday Gift Shop Brought Joy to Area Children
T
hrough the generosity of area businesses, civic groups and individuals, the Holiday Gift Shop provides families with gifts during the holiday season.  Families in need who are served by the CAC are invited to visit the “shop” before Christmas to pick out presents for their children. Parents don't need money to purchase gifts from our shop – just the desire to make their children happy.

We serve all age groups and both genders nearly equally.  Please begin thinking about joining in the holiday spirit for next year.  New, unwrapped toys are always needed for the store.  (The Toy Store is for clients of the CAC who are in need and who were served in the calendar year.  It is by invitation only and is not open to the public.)

Light Up a Life
Light up a life of an abused child during the holiday season. Your $15 gift lights a single light on our holiday tree. Your $25 gift places an angel on our holiday tree. Your $50 gift gives a gift of love.

Holiday Open House
Our 2007 Holiday Open House was held on Wednesday, December 5 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm at our new location on ISB.  Guests enjoyed the tours of our new campus and tasted delicious fare created by the CAC staff.  This event is by invitation only.  If you would like to be included in next year's event, please call Pam Hobbs at 386-238-3830.
