JOIN US AS WE CELEBRATE OUR 25th ANNIVERSARY!
Beginning December 2005, The Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) is celebrating 25 years of service to the abused and neglected children of Volusia and Flagler counties. Throughout the year we are recognizing the community and our founders, staff, donors and volunteers for their continued support of our agency with monthly events and activities.
Please check back for specific dates, times and locations of our monthly events. But here is an initial look at events that are currently planned. January 2006
Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon: A luncheon to thank our volunteers for their dedication to our mission. By invitation only. Tuesday, January 24th at The Stock Exchange.

Champagne & Diamonds Sweetheart Gala: February 11 from 7pm - 12am at the Hilton Daytona Beach Ocean Walk Village. Tickets are $75 per person and black tie is requested.
Choose Love: Local mixed media artist, Dr. John Wilton, agreed to create a one-of-a-kind piece for the CAC based on the theme "Choose Love." The original piece was auctioned off at the Sweetheart Gala in February and has been applied as a t-shirt design to raise additional funds for the center. Child Abuse Prevention Month: The CAC will host a variety of activties in our community to recommit to our inter-agency agreement with the Sheriff's Office, State Attorney's Office, Department of Children and Families, Community Based Care and Law Enforcement.
"Rise Above Abuse": Visit the CAC at 344 South Beach Street to see our "Rise Above Abuse" display during the month of April. Each day we will place balloons on our front lawn for the number of abuse cases reported in Volusia/Flagler counties the day before.
"Child Abuse Prevention Night" at the Ballpark: Join us Saturday April 8 at 7:05 pm as the CAC sponsors the Daytona Cubs' game versus the Brevard Manatees. CAC staff will be on hand to provide prevention awareness materials and the first 250 kids at the ballpark will receive a "clapper!" This is the perfect family event with fireworks after the game. Our own Cody Warrenfeltz will be throwing out the first pitch. Tickets are $6 and will be available at the gate.
"Child Abuse Prevention Night" with the Daytona Thunder: Come together to signify the end of Child Abuse Prevention Month as the CAC sponsors the Thunder game on Saturday, April 29th. CAC staff will be on hand to provide prevention awareness materials and the first 200 kids at the Ocean Center will receive a "clapper!"

Founders Luncheon: Our founders and board of directors will enjoy lunch at the Center while being the first to experience our new I Care Tours. Wednesday, May 17, at 12pm.

25 Years of Hope: The Children's Advocacy Center has been providing 25 years of hope to the victims of child abuse and sexual assault in Volusia & Flagler Counties. 1,500 residents of both counties received a mailer requesting donations for our next 25 years. If you would like to contribute to this campaign, please call our office at 386.238.3830. All funds raised will be used to secure a safe and healthy future for the children of Volusia & Flagler counties.

24th Annual "Fashionable Fall in Florida" Fashion Show and Luncheon: Held at the Shores Resort & Spa on September 20th beginning at 11 am. Join us for fashions, lunch and silent auctions. For more information about this event, please check out our Special Events page.
